Mark kicked off his tattooing career back in 94 at the Midland tattoo centre under the watchful eye of Kev Shercliff, after spending some time learning the fundamentals of tattooing Mark moved on doing the various tat conventions around the world, visiting Spain, Germany and Italy and also venturing as far as the States and Canada.

Germany holds some of his best memories, working at Herbert Hoffman's on the reeperbahn which incidentally holds the title of Germany's oldest tattoo establishment.

Far travelled with plenty of experience Mark eventually settled in Manchester and opened Sacred Art, next year will be the tenth anniversary of the shop opening, ten good years with plenty of good memories.

Cover-ups and freehand are Mark's speciality but of course being a pro all his tattoo's are first class, there are plenty of Manchester footballers over the years who will testify to that, only recently Mark tattooed Amy Winehouse who was ecstatic with the work Mark did and vowed to return.

Mark loves his Metal especially Slayer he is also mad into bikes and the need for speed and currently owns several track race machines.

Many thanks to all the customers who have ventured into Sacred Art  over the last decade and hopefully we will see you all again soon. Special thanks to Kev Shercliff, Darren Stares, Graeme Townsend and the late Ron Ackers, special special thanks and hello to Tore & Ela at Celtic-Tattoo
